The Icon of Virgin Mary Gregorousa is an exact copy of the icon found in the Pilgrimage Church of Virgin Mary Gregoroussa - Panmegiston Taxiarchon, to which it was donated by a family of refugees from Asia Minor in 1945.

Virgin Mary is named Gregorousa as she quickly fulfills the prayers of her faithful.
